Thai boxing has given me so much and I am grateful for it. I love the sport, it makes you stronger, resilient and teaches you to master your fears. I have been in this sport for more than 33 years and I wish to do this my whole life. It is for me an honour to pass on my knowledge and experience and help my trainees to get the best out of themselves.

WHAT FIDAN GYM DOES
At Fidan Gym, there is room for experienced as well as unexperienced athletes to learn the basic principles of kickboxing and Muay Thai in a safe environment. Adults are trained in a group combining beginners and professionals, and as such, this group is accessible for those who would like to start with kickboxing, as well as those experienced athletes who would like to improve upon their technique and stamina. Adults are trained by professional and experienced trainers, who offer every single person the opportunity to develop at one’s own pace. During the training, techniques are practiced on pads, punching bags, or each other’s gloves. You and your training partner will determine your own pace and intensity of training. Regularly, we will also do sparring during these trainings, however, this is always voluntarily and if you don’t want to participate in sparring, you can continue training on technique and/or stamina.
Children can start training at Fidan Gym from the age of 3. For these youngsters, the training will be conducted in a playful and relaxed way. The kids’ trainings are categorized as follows: 3-5 years, 6-11 years, and 12-15 years. In addition to the physical aspect of the sport, also respect, self-control, and discipline are taught during these trainings.
Twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday evening, there is a special training designed solely for women. This tight and cozy group is the ideal way for you to lose some weight, build muscle, and feel more confident. The techniques are practiced on pads, punching bags, or each other’s gloves. Physical contact during these trainings are limited to the bare minimum to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. This training is a full-body workout, with a focus on particular areas, such as the core and glutes.
